Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information UA Tech London collects, why, how we look after it, and the rights you have over it under UK data protection law.

UA Tech London (“we”, “us”) is an invite-only community of Ukrainians working in technology in London, founded by Uliana Avtonomova and Margo Sivakova. For questions about this policy or your data, contact uliana@uatech.london.
The website itself has no forms — it offers email links you choose to use. With your consent, it also uses Google Analytics (see “Cookies & analytics” below).
Under UK GDPR we rely on: your consent (for example, to contact you about events); our legitimate interests in running and protecting a curated community; and, where relevant, performing a contract with you (such as membership).
We do not sell your data. We share it only:
Some of our providers process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as the UK’s International Data Transfer Agreement or equivalent) to protect it.
We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes above — typically for the duration of your membership and a reasonable period afterwards — then delete or anonymise it.
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access your data, correct it, have it deleted, restrict or object to how we use it, and ask for a copy in a portable format. To exercise any of these, email uliana@uatech.london.
You also have the right to complain to the UK regulator, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), at ico.org.uk.
With your consent, we use Google Analytics to understand how people use the site — such as which pages are viewed and where visitors come from. It sets cookies in your browser and processes usage data (with your IP address shortened). No analytics run until you accept via our cookie banner, and you can decline at any time — or change your mind later by clearing the site’s stored choice in your browser.
You can also opt out of Google Analytics across all websites using Google’s opt-out browser add-on. Links out to third parties — such as Instagram, LinkedIn and our Luma calendar — are governed by those services’ own privacy policies.
UA Tech London is for adults in the tech community. It is not directed at anyone under 18, and we don’t knowingly collect their data.
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above always shows the current version.
